Changing products per row

I have my cart set to show 20 products per page which I am going to change from 20 to 12. What I would like it to know how I can add more products per row. As of current I have 2 products per row horizontally. I would like at least four from left to right. For me this seems quiet ****** because it makes the website look unprofessional with the two products. Please give me some guidance on how to fix this if at all possible.

Try settings -> general -> Default Items per Page (Storefront)

I have done the settings but there are two items per row with 6 columns. I want 4 items in each row with 3 columns. Thank you for your help

Hello,  I saw your post and went to your site.  FYI  I am seeing four across on the normal screen size, see my attached pic.

But if I shrink by window down,  it goes to 3, or 2 or even 1.  This is a responsive design template - are you perhaps looking at your results in a smaller screen size?

Just a thought.

sorry it took me so long to respond. Try going to the clothing>pants section there you will see the pants that are two per row.
