Drop Shippers
« on: January 25, 2014, 05:10:19 PM »
Anyone have any experience using drop shippers for regular retail. My medical supply business uses one of the best, but it not true retail, it's a very vertical market.

I'm talking about DOBA or any of that ilk.

Seems like Googling drop shippers, DOBA is taking a lot of them over.

Two Questions:

1. Is the one you recommend reliable?
2. How costly is it. DOBA rates are rather high to access all their products.

Please clarify which stata of drop shipping is your business model:

1.  You take possession of the products and are looking for someone to ship for you by having your inventory sent to their shipping location(s)

or

2.  You have a manufacturer or another wholesaler fulfil and ship your orders.

Lee,

DOBA and others like them give you access to their inventory, you sell it, pay them for it and they ship it.

Yes,  I understood the Doba model, I just needed clarity for which was your model or more precisely if that was the only model you were interested in.  It's a good model, low risk as long as fulfillment is well handled. :)

I only have a recommendation for the first option.  Sorry.
