Language Bug

In the area at the bottom of the pages, there are blocks for About Us, Contact Us, Testimonials and Newsletter.

I have modified the content of several of those, however when switching the language to Spanish, the content of those blocks reverts back to the original content in Spanish, not my modified content.

I have gone into System>Settings>Details and tried all combinations of the Language options listed there, to no avail.

What am I missing?

Very strange. What version of abantecart? Can you post the link?

I just set it up, it's the latest edition.

I'll add the language button back to the main page, I have removed it for now....I'll put it back on the home page only.

Update:

It's v 1.1.7

Some of it translates, like the title of the newsletter box. The About Us box fills with the default latin filler and the contact us reverts back to the demo version.

I see your content pages switch languages. Is this still a problem?

Yes, I have tried every combination in the settings and nothing seems to work.

Is this still an issue? Did you try this on 1.1.8 yet?

I have upgraded and I get the same thing. When you select Spanish, it loads a bunch of stuff from the demo site. Changes the banner slider to the default demo slider. About the only thing it translates is the menu at the top and the footer links.

I just removed the language choice all together.
