HELP! It had been working but now when someone downloads a zipped download it does not show as a zipped file. It is unknown and to get it to work customers are having to have to rename the file with the .zip on the end.
Plus for some reason in the account in the downloads section a bunch of extra "orders" are showing up under the download as pending. it is the same item and has the same time stamp on it. I have NO idea what to do to change any of this.
Thanks in advance.
Elizabeth

Below is what the downloads account looks like. That is one order.

hello. Can you post what mask of "download" do you use? Mask is a name of file for output to customer when he trying to download it.

I name the mask the same as the file name adding the .zip.
I have that issue fixed. I need the multiple orders showing in the customer account fixed.

@ Dmitriy, we had a similar issue with a store, but clearing the cache solved the issue. In Elizabeth's case, it didn't work. Ours was when you would be in the download page, for example, and refreshed the page, a new order would appear. And it only happened in Chrome! It's gets even more strange. I would generate order numbers that would skip 4 or 5 numbers ... like 78, then 82 then 87 etc.

What it was doing was giving that individual free downloads of the same product!

Just and FYI... there seems to be some issue with the download products.

this is in regard to the multiple orders -  this was a one-time occurrence -  using a Chrome browser.  It has not repeated the issue.  Note the order numbers and the order times.  The last legitimate order number prior to the issue was 16,  then it started iterating 45,  any click on the downloads page resulted in an additional "order".  Order 72 was testing for the issue recurring and it did not,  Also Order 82 and all has been okay since.

Hi. Can not replicate multiply orders issue.
Few questions:
1. please post download settings (is it shared or not?/ `activated` value etc...)
2. Did you see multiply orders in admin too or only at StoreFront?

to solve duplicates of orders replace file
extensions/paypal_express_checkout/core/paypal_express_checkout.php by attached.

Also need to replace file admin/model/catalog/download.php to solve issue with undeletable "downloads" of product.

This fixed it! YAY!! Now is there a way of clearing out those old orders from customers accounts? The multiples? Plus when they click to go to the next page it takes them to the main account page & not to page 2 of the their downloads. I want them to be able to access these files later if they need.
