Text below Categories

How can I add additional category content below the category listing? Above category is clear, it is the description section when editing the category itself. How about adding more category specific text below?

I have tried a custom content block (html) and added it to the layout, but did not work out. Any help is appreciated.

It is unclear precisely where you wish to add this text.   Please provide more details of the desired location.  Or a screen shot with what you are asking.

Create HTML block and enable it in Design-Layouts

HTML block now worked. I had to add the block to the Home Page and then it showed up. I previously added it to the Default Page Layout and nothing showed up. Thank you for the help. Cart is growing on me.
