Editor Not Posting to mysql

I have a problem with my: setting-details-welcome message editor not posting to mysql.

Problem started when I back spaced a image from editor page. Home page doesn't  update!

I have changed it by entering html in database ( only way to change now)

All other editors post and update properly.

I have and exact cart running on another website no problem with update.

CHMODS have all been done and tried at 644 755 777.

Any help would be great.

please post your text you tried to save here.
Copy it in "SOURCE" mode of CKEditor.
Welcome message is a config-parameter and stores in database and cache. Did you tried to clear cache after saving?

I went to server and ran repair database.  Now it's working fine.

it did report auto incrent value was set to "0" I think it was in ac_setting

Strange problem started after i backspaced a image. Then saved.

Thanks again (I did clear cache earlier) but didn't help.
