How can I reset my NeoWize stats to zero?

Does anyone know how I can reset my NeoWize stats back to zero?

Hello,

May I ask what do you mean by zero the data?

You can change the time scope by choosing the right time period from the "Data from" drop down - you can look at the last day, week, month or year.

We cannot delete data as it will show wrong statistics.

Does changing the time scope answer your needs?

Do you think that choosing specific dates would help you more?

Hi Neowize!

I have a LIVE and Test site so when I dump my Test SQL database and import it to my LIVE site, will the stats all be copied over too?

Also, my LIVE site is not 100% LIVE yet so the stats being collected are just me an one other person testing. So I want to zero the data and start again once my site is 100% LIVE.

Is the answer to disable the extension and re-enable?

Also, does NeoWize track my website and collect data?

Hey,

Thank you very much for clarifying it.

We collect the data on our end so copying the database will not copy the analytics from your test server to your production server as we collect the data on each server separately.

It will collect the live data of you and the other person, but once you fully go live this information will be from the past (every week you will see the statistics of the current week), and this data will also be minor because of the traffic from real visitors.

That means that I believe that in less than 1 week the old information we collected will be very minor as opposed to the real users.

If once it happen you will feel that it do heavily affect the data and insights feel free to send us a mail. We will see what we can do in order to make sure it will not affect the insights.
