Adding Manufacturer Drop Down Category on HomePage
« on: March 03, 2017, 08:15:11 AM »
Hello,

We have a problem that we would really appreciate some help resolving.  We need/want to display our manufacturer names on our site and provide the brands we sell more exposure throughout our site.   As of now, our products look as though they are generic because our manufacturer names are not included in the short description of the products.  Is it possible to create a drop down category on the homepage titled "View Manufacturers" which when clicked goes to a page that lists all of our manufacturers with links to their product pages?

Thanks for any direction,

cmowery

Hi.

There is a block called "Brands List" on the home page with all store's manufacturers http://demo.abantecart.com/
You can create a content page in Admin > Design then assign this block to it's Layout so all brands will be on one page.

You can create an HTML block and add it to the page in the layout.
In HTML block you can include anything you like to describe or visualize your brands
