Hi guys I have a couple of questions:

I amcurrently running  v1.0.2 PayPal standart how can I upgrade to  v1.2.11 PayPal standart or the AbanteCart new version 1.2.12 that I read about here:

The reason I am asking is because when I try to log into paypal, through abantecart, login fails. Also the credentials (aka email address in the paypal extemsion is correct).

Any advice guys?


Additional Note/Update:

When I switch the "Sandbox (Test) Mode" from yes -> to NO... the process works!

Now, here are 2 additional questions:

Is it safe?

And why would I need the "Sandbox (Test) Mode"?

Latest versions of all core extension are available in source https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/archive/master.zip

Sandbox is for testing so all transaction are go to your paypal sandbox account https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/lifecycle/sb_create-accounts/

I checked the master zip etc.

So far my store works fine.

Here is the thing: Paypal standard works OK!   :)

But when I read through these comments: http://forum.abantecart.com/index.php/topic,5948.msg25545.html#msg25545

I got a little worried.

The members there talked about a paypal standard version v1.2.11 while both in the master zip and the store that I have I am using the paypal standard version of 1.0.2.

So it is more a theoretical question rather than an actual issue.

Any insights?  :)
