Can You Show All Categories & Sub-Categories

Several of my categories have sub-categories.  What I would like to do is have the sub-categories shown all the time in the Categories block - at the moment on the categories are shown and the only way to see the sub-categories is to click on the category it belongs to.

Is there an easy way to do this?

1st way: You have to create extension and hook on controller of block for categories
2nd: create custom listing block with categories (menu design->blocks->tab listing block)

The easier way is to tick the parent category when you input the product in the backend.
