order images automatic

i have images names MODEL-1.JPG, MODEL-2.JPG ... UP TO MODEL-3.JPG

is there any way that when i will upload the images they will be order by the name on the file 1-12?

now if i upload 9 images the order is set ok but if i upload more than 10 images the order is not ok.

Looks like a small bug from quick look. We will check for solution and fix.

From your post it is not clear what you are trying to upload.
Please tell me "rt" part of the URL of the page where you start uploading so I can localize problem.

I'm also having the same problem with images uploaded for products. I have named them 1,2,3 and a,b,c yet they still take on an order all unto itself!! Please can you assist?

i just tested the code, this don't work the order of the images is not correct.
if i upload this kind of images name:
ZQR-1 | ZQR-2 | ZQR-3 | ZQR-4 | ZQR-5 | ZQR-6 | ZQR-7 | ZQR-8 | ZQR-9 | ZQR-10 | ZQR-11

the order i get is: 1=ZQR-1 | 2=ZQR-7 | 3=ZQR-5 | 4=ZQR-4 | 5=ZQR-9 | 6=ZQR-8 | 7=ZQR-6 | 8=ZQR-3 | 9=ZQR-10 | 10=ZQR-2 | 11=ZQR-11 |

this is real test i make.
why this is happening?
can you please help me to fix it?

after fix apply (see above), your images sort order takes from request. Can you check this order into request in firebug->net?
how did you selected files? with CTRL pressed? by one? or you did it by batch select?

i have select all the images i want and i have drag them directly to the browser and it automaticly upload ll the images.

I have install firebug on firefox, but i don't know how to use this.
i just know that the order of the images don't order it itself, it need to do it manualy
so please help me do fix this, it's take some time to reorder images

we can't to change approach for uploading images... at least for now.
Abantecart gets images in order that defined by browser.
But now the order of downloaded images is set in the tab with all the resources of the object. Click tab with name of object (for ex. product name) and set order manually.
