Zencart Cart Migration

Hi, I am new to AbanteCart and so far I really like it. Thank you!

I am trying to migrate my data from Zencart. It seems to connect ok but then says the cart has no info to import/migrate. Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I really don't know much about databases. Since it is connecting I would guess the info is correct. Why would it say the cart is empty? Any ideas?

I got it connecting with the help of my host. I was missing the prefix zen_.

Now I'm having other issues. It connects but times out. I have run it twice but noticed that it starts all over and has migrating double the categories and products...but still did not get through all of them. Any ideas of what I can do differently?

And it imported 3 sets of my customers...what a hot mess.

What does the "reset" button do? Any easy way to delete the triplications of my customers?

The products don't import past about 14 of them...not sure why.

Was so excited when I saw the migration tool since I'm not a programer and thought it could be easy.  :(

Hello.
Your server may have a limit on script execution time and that affect AbanteCart.
You can try to export products into CSV file and then import to AbanteCart

I will try the export with the products. It would be great if the system knew not to download repeat info.

Appreciate the cart though. Enjoying the ease of it so far...
