Moving to root directory
« on: June 25, 2013, 01:44:18 PM »
If I want to move my site from a sub-directory to the root, do i have to edit the path in any config.php files? And if so where are they?

No need to change configuration file.

Change store url setting to have correct URL.

If you put any full paths in any of your HTML blocks or content you will need to change this.

Also if you changed .htaccess, you will need to change it

You don't have permission to access /shopzone/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

any advice ?

check your htaccess.  You may still have the other subfolder in the rewrite statement
