I can not find an extension for it, does it exist already or are you suggesting to build one? I really think this should need to be done ASAP for a well designed cart if it wants to be relevant in 2016.

Is there a way to shorten the checkout process? I am not talking PayPal Express, regular store checkout with credit card.

There are simply too many steps to get the order done. Then the last step where we see all info complete, it asks for another confirm order. This will result in many lost orders. You can expect to loose some customers on every step along the way unfortunately.

I love what I see so far with AbanteCart but the long checkout is really not good. I hope I just missed a setting.

So I found more posts regarding this in SEO section. Sorry this might be in the wrong place. Feel free to move it.

I did edit the category and press the SEO Keyword generate button. Yes this makes it work. But I have lot's of products that I want to migrate over and do not really want to edit every single product for this. Is there a way to automate this?

OK, changed settings but the migration was already done. So I think I have to roll back and do it again. No problem, just evaluating at the moment. As to the decryption, I'll try and find out if it is possible.

I switched on Use SEO URL's and .htaccess is correct.

Cleared all cache as well. Some products show now SEO friendly url' but others still show the product/product&path=43_45&product_id=95 kind. How do I get them all to display SEO url's without editing every single product? I want it to just use suggested url from title.

The migration tool from 1.2.7 worked great. Now looking at the imported data I've noticed that customers were imported but a generic login name has been generated, like gen_d9c53c1a398dba5ec99e630e6c3e1753. The password was not imported ether and is showing blank in the dashboard customer info. Can this info be imported correctly? BTW, zen cart used the email address as the login name.

Can I have one option depend on the selection of the first option?

For example take the demo product: New Ladies High Wedge Heel Toe Thong Diamante Flip Flop Sandals

Let's say I select size 6, I might offer it only in blue and red. But If I select size 8 I might have all colors available. Can this be done? This is important for inventory reasons too. Say I sell out of size 6 in red but still want to sell size 6 in blue.

I have a similar problem. First was as this user described but I re-registered and confirmed the link and now I can connect in extensions. So I tried the upgrade again. This time no connection error but after I choose Network install, abantecart_upgrade_123
press Continue button I stay on Package Installer page but it stays blank. I check the messages and see a new Error:
Backup Compress Error: Error: cannot to pack /home/xxxxx/public_html/AbanteCart/admin/system/backup/abantecart_121.tar.gz

Any idea how to get past this or what else I should try?

try to set 777 for all folders and files except .htaccess and public_html/index.php

Done, same issues both ways. Automatic and upload extension.

Cool, I will do that. I was just wondering why this is in the default template and I feel this should be corrected in a future version.
