I am using default_html5 template.

When the customer select an item, it display the product page and I have set the layout to display the category on the left side.
Hence, did not want the system to display the image at the high level.
Please advise how not to display the image.

I have modified the style.css (public_html/storefront/view/default_html5/stylesheet) and added attribute class="my-css-rule-for-list" for tag <ul>.
However, it still does not reflect the bullets.
Please advise.

I have figured out how to add the friendly message for the product's description tab when the stock status is pre-order.

I went through the documentation regarding stock-processing-configurations, it mentioned if Checkout: Stock Checkout is set to on, no warning will display. It will be quite confused for the customers when they see  the *** besides the product and cannot find footnote or friendly message regarding this though they can make a pre-order. May you can consider add some friendly message too.

I have followed the steps that mentioned it does not work as expected result..

Enclosed the screenshots for your advise and guidance.

When I have set Checkout to ON, it does not display message that there is no stock.
When I have set Checkout to OFF, then it does display message that there is no stock.

Here the business requirement and your advise and guidance.
Need to display "Pre-order/Out of stock" when there is no good on hand.
Did not want the customer to make payment till there is good on hand for pre-order.
Need to display message for out of stock when there is no good on hand and did not want the customer to checkout no good on hand.

Is it possible to have a function for the product to have get notify mail for out of stock?
