Same here, I accepted the risk updating a 'live' site as business is very slow at the moment.

Thought i'd broke it so done a completely fresh install of 1.2.16 and had the exact same problem

I want to know if its possible / how to let my customers search products by attribute?, eg by colour, size, price range etc

Not sure if this has been asked before, i have searched but couldn't find a relevant answer.
I know how to create different attributes (size/colour etc) and add them to products but how do i combine the 2 (or more) so that stock levels are correct?
VARIABLE PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES
Its ok if for example a dress is available in various sizes, but only 1 colour, but what if there are multiple variables, can the variables be linked so stock levels are tracked / updated correctly?

EG
A dress is available in various colours (black, red etc)
BUT
Black is available in sizes 8,10,12,14
Red is available in sizes 10,14 only
and of course variable quantities available as they are sold

While i appreciate i could create separate products for each colour option, it would be better if all options were on the same product listing.

Any advice on how this is achieved?

When creating / editing products in the admin side, the text box for entering product details has changed to 'skyscraper' mode? (pic attached)
You can change the height of this box but not the width.
Not sure how to change it back any ideas?

Another issue i have (but not hugely important except for discount codes etc), how do i change the time / location to my time zone GMT, London?
