There is a simple line of code you can add to your style sheet to give a nice shadow to your header and it'll seem like it's 3D.

If you'd like to add it, it's as simple as falling off a log.

Follow this path storefront>view>default>stylesheet>style.css

Add this line of code to line 261 in the header section. (You'll need an editor like notepad++) It's in the first group of code after the hack for the header /*----------Header----------*/

Enter a carriage return at the end of line 260

I was wrong about No Shipping, but I'm using Flat Rate Shipping, which requires shipping to be set to "on". Yet, for flat rate there is no weight or size requirements and that is when you see the error.

I have noticed that on the product edit page of the Admin Panel (1.2.1), one must input a weight, even if there is no shipping or flat rate shipping is selected.

It won't prevent the product from being added, but it gives an error and is highlighted in red if one does not input a weight, even if it's 0.0005 or less!

Just a minor tweak, but could cause a newbie to question things.

I have used several other templates, but most of them won't work now because of the upgrade to 1.2.1. Those that you find in our store will work and are supported by our staff.

Places like AlgoZone and other 3rd party templates have not yet been updated to include the new AbanteCart version.

You'll need to apply the code to your website template, if you have the code and know how it reacts. Some pop-up need to be just before the
Code: [Select]
</body> tag.

Look at the page.tpl template page and see if that is where the pop-up needs to be placed. Without knowing what the code is, it's hard to be precise in it's placement.

I recently found a bug with the Stripe extension. When you have a product that requires no shipping, the extension will not process credit cards, it runs into a technical error. Otherwise, the extension is flawless!

I PM'd Pavel about this, since he did such an excellent job creating it and within a day he posted a fix!

Thank you sir, job well done. The fix is flawless now for No Shipping required.

This fix will really help everyone using the Stripe payment extension, especially those selling downloadable digital products or (like my customer) selling tickets to a live event online.

AbanteCart is an eCommerce platform and that is how you make money with it. Selling products, digital goods, etc. If you're looking for a free platform to promote and make money with Google AdSense, I suggest you build a regular website or a blog.

Although AbanteCart can be and is used for a CRM type of site, it is not the intent of the developers.

So, as AbanteCart has said, it's how your using your AbanteCart site, not the application itself. I suggest you start a blog or build a website on a platform like Wix.

Please don't criticize a product  you're mis-using.

Extensions are usually built by 3rd parties for something like that. Perhaps you could contact the person(s) that have created the one you're talking about now and ask them if they would be interested in converting it to AbanteCart.
