General Support / Zip extension being removed???

HELP! It had been working but now when someone downloads a zipped download it does not show as a zipped file. It is unknown and to get it to work customers are having to have to rename the file with the .zip on the end.
Plus for some reason in the account in the downloads section a bunch of extra "orders" are showing up under the download as pending. it is the same item and has the same time stamp on it. I have NO idea what to do to change any of this.

Has anyone figured this out??? I tried gift certificates and that does not work either. I need for my customers to be able to put in a coupon code or gift certificate and be able to check out with a zero balance. The gift certificate should work like this but does not. Getting very frustrated. I need to have this up on the 1st. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I am using pay pal & even though the balance is zero it takes me to Pay Pal to pay or with pro it wants a credit card. This is the main reason I wanted this cart. So I did not have to have a balance for customers to check out. HELP!!

When I try to check out, add a coupon or register the page times out on me. Any idea on what I am doing wrong? I have a coupon added and active. I have added Pay Pal as a payment option as well. I tried even checking out without having to register & it does not work. I am using 1.1.8
No error message, just times out and says page not available.

Thank you! I have a support ticket in for a new installation. Of course they are going to charge me now as they already did my "free" one.

This is what was installed for me. Sigh! I am at Site Ground and they installed the cart. So you are telling me I am way out dated? How do I update. Again I am extremely new with this. I appreciate any help/advice I can get. Thank you :-)

This is what is happening. I added an item that has value and I cannot get that to check out. I cannot remove the item from the cart either. I was going to try a coupon code to give the item for free & there is no place to put it. My site is a digital download site of embroidery designs. I have customers that pre-pay for a subscription and they get a coupon code that will allow them to download for free (depending on how long they paid for). Others just pay as they go. I do have freebie downloads as well so that is why I NEED the 0 balance at check out. This is what my cart page looks like. I cannot do anything with it. I can screen shot my settings if need be as well.

I will apologize up front as I am very much a noob here. I am trying to set up payment options so that customers can check out with a zero balance & that they can use a coupon code. Neither of which is happening. I have set the values to 0 and enabled the coupon code option. I just do not know what the heck else to do. Also, is there a way to remove an item from the cart if a customer adds it but changes their mind? I cannot get that to work either. This is going to sound stupid but I am testing this by clicking the store front button on the cart admin page. Is that maybe the issue? I have not loaded the cart where I want it yet until I have it all sorted out. Like I said I am an extreme noob. HELP!

I am also not being given a coupon option even though it is suppose to be showing & I have it enabled. I don't want to do too much work on this if for some reason it is not going to work or I will have to have it reinstalled. I am sure it is something simple I am missing but I have been working on this all day & cannot figure it out. HELP! THANKS :-)

I am a noob so I will apologize upfront. I cannot get the zero balance to work. I have it set as I should but cannot get to the final completed page on check out. I don't know what I am doing wrong here. I don't know if this makes a difference or not but I am clicking on the store front link on the cart admin as I do not have my cart set up to launch on my URL.
