OK - all upgrades done manually and site is back up again!

Only issue seems to be that the SW thinks it is still v1.1.3??? as shown on the admin page login screen:

http://www.stylosports.com/index.php?s=Administrator

Anything I missed or need to do to correct this?

OK - so I fixed that one but then another DB issue. I guess I must have missed some upgrade versions - surely the auto update would have checked that and told me when I ran it from the website???

So I guess I need to do some DB and file restores to whatever I had then go through each step upgrade....

OK - some progress :-)

Ran the file copy a few times as it looked like my ftp client was misbehaving.
loaded the SQL after changing the prefix - ran that with no errors - some rows updated and some not so all seemed OK

The admin site now seems fine in all areas aside from 2 extensions which show errors but I don't use those ones.

When I try and load the main site website www.stylosports.com I get an error page:

http://www.stylosports.com/static_pages/index.php

In the log I can see that it looks like a select which includes a field that doesn't exist:

2014-03-06 22:34:57 - database error:  AbanteCart core v.1.1.3 Error: Unknown column 'tr.rate_prefix' in 'field list'<br />Error No: 1054<br />SELECT tr.tax_class_id,
                     tr.rate AS rate, tr.rate_prefix AS rate_prefix,

this is on ab_taxrates which doesn't have a field called rate_prefix

I checked in the upgrade.sql and this field isn't created as part of the install????

Hi - thanks.

Files replaced but now the start page on the site www.stylosports.com just displays an AbanteCart error message.

I can log in to the admin page and that seems OK except the "system" tab goes to an error page if clicked but the "sub" System menu options do work.

Any further suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

Hi - I clicked the link to do the site upgrade and now have an error message when I go to the admin page.

page: http://www.stylosports.com/index.php?s=Administrator
error:Fatal error: Call to a member function replaceDescriptions() on a non-object in /home/stylospo/public_html/admin/model/localisation/language_definitions.php on line 50

Do you have an idea what I need to do to get this working again?

Thanks

Hi, I'm away from my usual Pc and don't remember the switch to go to the admin page.  Could someone please let me know  - mine was just the default so I guess will be similar to others.
Thanks

Hi, thanks.  I sell a wide range of products which generally will all be sent as a single delivery to the customer.

Ideally I think I'd like to have a maximum price on a single order for shipping.

Alternatively, if easier, only the highest shipping charge should be used for all items in the same order.

Example:

Customer buys 3 things with shipping costs of £2, £3 and £10.  Today that will cost them £15 but my cost is "usually" just £10.  Hey, I make more money but my customer may not be happy.

Of course if a customer just buys a single product with shipping of £3 then they should pay £3.

Thanks
Adam

Hi, I use the per-item shipping at www.stylosports.com is there a way I can set the max cost for a customer?  At the moment all items get added together which results in a high shipping charge which is not so fair and I'd like to set a max ship cost.
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi, well I finally did the 1.1.1 upgrade, so easy being a file copy.  Unfortunately I still have this error appearing really frequently in the log:

2012-11-12 16:33:46 - runtime notice:  AbanteCart core v.1.1.1 Declaration of AMenu_Storefront::_buildMenu() should be compatible with that of AMenu::_buildMenu() in <b>/home/stylospo/public_html/core/lib/menu_control_storefront.php</b> on line <b>302</b>

Any suggestions for how to remove this?

Thanks

Hey thanks.  Well, I've upgraded to 1.1.1 and also replaced the language.php as per the thread you linked to and also created a robots.txt file.

Will see if my customers have more success now.

Hi, I have some users complaining that when they try and access my website - which is just an AbanteCart store at stylosports.com  that they get an error - "There has been a problem processing your request"  This is coming from my site as there is the AbanteCart logo etc so does not look like a DNS issue.

Only errors I can find in sPanel are references to missing files (see below).

Any suggestions on what could a) be wrong with people being able to access the site (using IE and also on an iPhone) For me an iPhone and IE 9 are fine.  Or b) what the cause of the errors is?  I create a couple of folders for assets and html but can't see what is trying to access them.  These 2 issues may of course be separate.
Thanks
Adam

Hi - I changed the error reporting.  I didn't upgrade yet. Will look into that as well.

OK thanks have changed that as suggested.
Do I need to do anything to ensure this change is "live"?  So far the error log has the same errors being reported.
