Template Support / I do not have "social icons" block.

I am running 1.2 and both templates html5 and default do not provide me the option of "social icons" How do I get this block?

New Features Discussion / Product filter in admin both enabled and disabled

On the product filter in admin you have a drop down that is limited to enabled or disabled. I want to find all products in a category, and this filter will not allow me to. Please add a both option to this filter.

General Support / Update request, apostrophes handled in meta data.

Please update for apostrophes to be handled in meta data when creating products and categories, now it blows up.

Upgrade / Based on my experience you should not upgrade to 1.2 at this time

I have had far too many problems and want to go back to 1.19, however I do not want to overwrite all my files manually so I am going to stick with it unless another option is provided to me. I upgraded for the out of stock button functionality, however that is not working. Along with spinning create and edits. Manufacturers and Categories not listing in drop down boxes. There is nothing in 1.2 that is needed that should make you want to upgrade from 1.19. It is not worth the risk.
I will update this post once my issues have been fixed and will state when it is worth upgrading.
UPDATE:
It looks as though drop downs work in Firefox only for me. So this is the issue that was making the cart unusable for me. So based on that and if you are willing to use firefox, I would now say you can install with caution.
UPDATE 2
The drop down issue which is the main issue has now been fixed on Chrome and IE, and I believe switching to 1.2 now is worth the attempt.
I will update this post once my issues have been fixed and will state when it is worth upgrading.

General Support / No Categories in create categories for parents.

This is a must fix item. I need to be able to nest my categories. Category listings like manufacturers is not populating the fields. I did a core upgrade to 1.2. I can not create new categories without this functionality. Image is of create categories with the drop down selected, I have a ton of categories created.

General Support / Creating or editing products in 1.2 hang often.

Upon pressing save from the main create or edit product page, approx 1 out of 4 times on create and I would say more than 1 out of 2 times on edit, the save just hangs. It will not save the product and the save spinning icon just spins, till the web page times out.

General Support / 1.2 upgrade. Manufacturers no longer appear when adding products

After the upgrade to 1.2 the Manufacturers no longer appear when I am creating a product. I can type in my own, but the ones saved under Manufacturers do not appear as a list.

The server thinks it's 1PM but its not. I was having a black friday start at midnight but I can't change the time that it thinks it is how do I change it?!

Support / Change Add To Cart, and View to "Out Of Stock" for OOS items.

I want to be able to change my add to cart button and the mouse over view on photos in listings from "View" to Out Of Stock.
I want my items to stay viewable on the site, because google doesn't like items to appear and disappear. So when an item goes out of stock I want the listing to stay available to be viewed. However the out of stock message that appears on a product is very small, and is not very noticeable. It is also bad for customers for them to add an item and then get told it is out of stock much later in their cart.
So I would like the add to cart button to be deactivated, and changed to an out of stock button in red. I can do the art even if you like. I will upload the image here in a little while. Here is an example page I would like changed. See how out of stock is very small at the bottom of the page.

Tips and Tricks / Sale price for certain categories and more.

So I am getting prepared for Black Friday, and so I want a sale to come up for a certain amount of time and for there to be a new category at that time. Is there a way to do that for a specific time and have it set up beforehand? So the category appears right when the sale starts?
Also how do you make a sale for a whole category can you do that?

Does Google Sitemap make an XML sitemap and update it as I update my catalog? There is very little information on the extensions about what it does. Is there somewhere I can find out more about what it does?
