Hi

Noticed that if I have a long product name it flows under the price. Which size settings do I adjust or is it a but of CSS again

No its in template2. Basically if I set it 100% the slideshow wont reach on larger screens so I wanted to set the width then have the storefront float central on the screen

Hi

I decided to set the width of the storefront width to 1000px in appearance but I found it stays left in window once you have. Is there a way to float it centrally once width is set. Do I have to edit CSS.

I've only modified colours in CSS nothing in PHP, unless that throws it all off.

My work around will suffice (making a link to a folder in the root folder) as its a bit quicker to populate that folder with the pdfs and link in description.

Hi there's the product page in tempplate2 as you can see no download tab

Yep looked at the achievement JPG. Awesome. However I'm using template 2. I see no download tab in bottom near description?.

Hi yonghan.

Worked a simple work around without going through downloads so as to put it as a URL link in description. I went in to cpanel and essentially made a PDF folder within root folder of site but above admin. This will give me a direct external link for any one to download PDF from inside folder (copy and paste url to link in description without being logged or signed in). I suppose only concern is if my cpanel is hackable from that root. But as file is readable only then should be no backwash.

Last thing I was thinking was file size an issue as PDFs are over 2 mb. Will be making them smaller.

Thanks for that, I have done this but I cant see where the pdf is when I have done the 'Before order', I go to the product page eg wc/cintasa wc  and there is only the description?

Do I have to put another block on products page. Or is it on the individual product summary page. Where would it be on my site?

Hi

I want to add a PDF to the product page for free download as specs on the product. I have gone through the download docs and activated everything but it isnt there. I'm scratching my head. Followed the instructions. Does the customer have to be logged in first as I dont need this to be the case, anyone help  :-[

You can if you must, inspect element (using chrome) find the path of logo name and  folder in server, go into cpanel (resources/images/..etc ) and literally replace that file with one named exactly the same name and size wise,(eg 30px - 30px and  f.jpg or whatever) delete and replace, make sure you match the dimensions and name as I believe (in my experience) size specific for the top header and you should be ok...

Super Help :P

How do I add add a downloadable pdf to a description of a product as I need the clients/ buyers to get the specs on a product. Uploaded PDF to resources in media on the product page of said product and it mapped to the product under mapped image...Thought I had done a work around by copying URL of preview/download to description box as a link, but it bounces a 401 as I assume an external client pc (etc) that is not admin logged in can't access my server.. fair do's, that's hackable, I did a copy URL text to make the link in the description but how do I allow viewers to click and open PDF.... Tried on other laptops PC's and mobile devices and getting

Do I then have to store them externally so they are accesable on a open folder in my server..  Confusion... Dont have this prob on Wordpress with PDFs.
