Hello again. I do have Default as the first option showing for sorting but the items are still not sorted like we want.

For example in a particular category like Antiperspirants we have 8 products. What I did in that category is put in a number in the Sort Number and that is show they should be sorted.

Is this the wrong way to do it? Now an interesting thing is that if I change the sort by from default to another selection and then put back default everything is sorted like it should.

I was also think change the dates on products to the same date and then use the Sort Numbers

Since I launched our mobile site on Jun 19th we have had a total of 20 orders so far. I have setup successfully PayPal and PayPal Pro.

Our plant manager was saying that about 15 of these orders there are no automatic shipping labels created in PayPal. She has to do them manually and if we start to get a lot of orders this will be a big issue to do them all manually.

I investigated further and saw what is happening inside PayPal. For the orders that a label was done automatically it shows in payment type instant. I will assume that is for PayPal standard where they go to PayPal and finish payment.

For the one's that don't have a label created automatically it is always the same payment type: (Website Payments Pro API Solution)

Also see attached file here and you will notice it says no shipping address on file. On the correct orders it does show an address.

What is going on here?

All orders have gone thru and completed. The only issue is no shipping address and thus manual shipping labels have to be created.

I looked at extension and all is well. Is it the consumer not filling something in? Perhaps something can be added to cart to make them aware to fill in the address in the correct sections?

I know this is old topic but if I read correctly if you do an export of existing products and then make some changes, even add a few new items, then import no duplicates are created?

That is fantastic as my last cart system was so dumb in that regard. So basically everything just gets updated and anything new is an addition.

You can if you must, inspect element (using chrome) find the path of logo name and  folder in server, go into cpanel (resources/images/..etc ) and literally replace that file with one named exactly the same name and size wise,(eg 30px - 30px and  f.jpg or whatever) delete and replace, make sure you match the dimensions and name as I believe (in my experience) size specific for the top header and you should be ok...

I was going to say the same thing. I have been working on our mobile site with AbanteCart for a month and half and the easiest way I found was to inspect the elements with the browsers tools or Firebug and it would show me the name and the path to the file. I would then open the file in Photoshop.

Next I would see it's dimensions and create a blank file with the same dimensions and then when I was satisfied with the new graphic I would save exactly with the same name and format and then upload to the server.

I overwrite the existing file (backup original with you wish) and go back to the site and refresh and done deal. To me is easier and much faster.

Also since I plan to install for our company AbanteCart cart on a few sites having the same look Admin gets confusing so at the moment I am actively inspecting elements and will change the colors and logos in each admin so none of us are ever confused. I did this with our existing admin systems and it helped a lot.

Thanks but that wont work as it only allows images and even if it did videos they would only appear once an option is chosen. Would be better if they would appear as a thumbnail by default like the images do. Then you would really have something.

I cant complain though I have been able to add videos with a block for now. Having multiple images and other essentials has been great so far. Perhaps the creators of AbanteCart can consider for a future update having images and videos together if chosen in the area where the images are shown now.

I have high hopes for this system.

OK I did the changes and the Default Sort is now the principal. I have backed up the original file so that going forward when a new cart update arrives I can make these changes again.
