Title: default page layout

how do I set all the pages to look exactly the same? nearly all do except the tabs at the bottom of the page (about us, shipping etc) which the header tabs have all gone?

Hi.
Are you refer to blocks? Check what blocks and on what pages in your template Layouts.

thank you it is all the items that are under content that have a different layout?

how it should look is the first picture which is home page and how it looks is second picture, all the top tabs have gone

Hello. In Design > Layouts check every layout page you have. If not specified content pages use a Default Page Layout
