We add 3 products yesterday. Later when i was logged on again, the product list in the administration is empty, but on the site itself i can see the three added products. What is the problem of that? i have already empty the cache, but it didn't work. Help me please.

Do you have multistore enabled? Any errors in the AbanteCart error log?

Where can i find enable multistore? i have one store, the default store. This is the only error message:

But still i don't see products in the productlist in the administration, only on the website.
Session save path is not writable!

Your server is unable to create a session necessary for AbanteCart functionality. Check logs for exact error details and contact your hosting support administrator to resolve this error.
But the hosting support can't solve this problem they said.
How can i solve this?

Has no one an answer for this problem???? Other wise i must choose for another oscommerce system. It is getting time that the makers of abantecart get more knowledge to solve problems.

I have the same problem after upgrading to 1.2.5. Looking for a solution as this is very frustrating. >:(

Update: This post solved my problem with the "...unable to create session..."

Just find your path to tmp folder in Cpanel and add to php.ini.
Mine was session.save_path=/home/user/tmp

I think this post shows the challenge deploying any app or webpage. One word of advice I'd recommend is if you are running into a problem and no one else posts about that problem much or at all, then it's most likely only affecting just YOUR configuration.
It's not so much no one wants to help you or the developers don't care...but since it doesn't affect them or anyone else, they don't know or simply can't recreate your problem so they have nothing to go on...
Choosing another platform or any platform (doesn't matter) won't help because if your config wherever you're hosted at is messed up, no commerce system will matter at all.
I was running into a strange problem where I couldn't even install a vanilla install of Abantecart (still not sure why), but it's probably just within my hosting provider's config...Very much a pain, but not much anyone can really do (without spending more time and get possibly dedicated hosting or root access)...
Also, can't figure out manual upgrade at all and assuming that I am the only one in Abantecart land looking to do that.

Ask your hosting provider support to help you. Server configuration is their issue

I have made a php.ini file and put the session in. But it doesn't work. The productlist in administration is still empty. But on the site itself i can see the products.

Put php.ini file to the directory where AbanteCart installed. Also in admin check if you see products in English language

No, You dont need to translate. I ask because think that something wrong with your language. But if you did not see in english issue in other place. Can you PM your admin access? I can try to find problem.

I fix your problem ;).
So issues was exactly where I think it is. Somehow you have translated english language definitions to your language and few of them broke javascript.
What were fixed:
Admin > Localization > Language Definitions then language definitions with key tab_media and text_media were renamed from Foto's to Foto\'s
I will report issue to AbanteCart team to avoid this problem in new version.

Do you have clean AbanteCart 1.2.5 install or upgraded from 1.2.4 to 1.2.5 ?

Hi so i am having a similar issue but not with the products not showing up in the admin. Idk what it is so far but its saying session save path is not writable? What should i do for that? My version is 1.2.5 the newest one.

Hello. Your issue is not similar. Please create separate topic. Also try to search forum for solution
