Hello.
I almost done setting up my first shop with Abantecart.
I have only one problem left. I need to charge the buyers of a small extra fee
if the shipment is directed to some particular locations in Italy that are particularly expensive.
I tried looking at the flat rate extension with no luck.
How can I solve the problem?
Thank You.

I resolved splitting Italy in 2 sub zones and assigning different locations.

Yes.
I am really satisfied with Abantecart so far.
The product is really well crafted. I am sincerely impressed.
I am just about to open the shop to public, just some testing and It will go online.
Thank You very much.

Anyone know how this would be done in the US? A lot of the zones are state based so what would be the best way to split up a state into multiple zones...such as by zip codes or at least the 1st 3 digits in a zipcode?
Maybe I need to look into editing or doing searches in zone.php?

Hi.
As for my problemi I proceeded this way.
First I created 2 different locations: "Italy" and "Italy Islands".
Then I assigned the different zones to each location.
Then in the weight based shipping extensions I associated two different pricing for the 2 locations above.
Now when the buyer chooses a zone located in an italian island an overprice is applied.
It works. I know Your problems is more complicated, hope this can help.
