Title: Easy to apply standard color palette
Post by: leonuys on January 16, 2017, 04:28:48 AM
I'm a 24-hour old user of AbanteCart and I'm also new to eCommerce which doesn't help much, hence . So far it's been a good journey though, because AbanteCart is quite intuitive.

My question has nothing to do with coding. It is only asking about the overall color scheme or palette. Is there an easy-to-load set of colors that work together, away from the standard blue? Is there a tutorial maybe, if not a downloadable set? If there is nothing else, is there a developer who can make some changes for me?

I basically need an orange-ish layout instead of the light blue.

Thank you.

Welcome to AbanteCart and ecommerce.

If you need to edit color yourself, you will need to dig into CSS colors.
These will be in this file:
/storefront/view/default/stylesheet/style.css

Also you can check if this will help you:

Thanks for the shout out to one of our very old sites http://abantecartcolors.com/ (http://abantecartcolors.com/) -  But let me say it should be used ONLY for looking at some color themes for ideas.

The templates there are for the previous default_html5 template (abantecart v 1.1.8) - we've not taken time to update this site to the later versions -  remains on our to-do list  :( but currently pretty far down on the list.
