Title: email alerts for when customers create an account
Post by: nickjohn on January 29, 2013, 06:25:18 AM
Hi,
This is for the default template.
I see that an email alert is sent when a new order is created but wondered if you could set it up so you receive an email alert when a customer creates an account and don't buy anything.

Cheers
Nick

This is not currently available by default.  This is more related to reporting rather than notification.
There is abandoned orders extension that is available in in admin-> extensions -> extension store

Sir ,
Technically he is saying when a new user creates a account in abantecart he wants a notification  .He is not asking about abandoned orders right .Would be great if this option with the facility to ON/OFF the same is added to 1.1.4

Thank you for clarification. We will keep this in mind as feature improvement

I also have this problem,it was only by logging into the admin panel that I noticed a customer had registered an account.
There's no auto notification for this - only if an actual order is created.

Is there a way to set it up in Additional Email Alerts ?
If yes, what do I need to enter ?

Thanks

Noted. We will consider this for an extension to manage messages and notifications.

Thank you.
