Shipping Modules / Re: Multiple shipping modules
« on: June 11, 2012, 02:03:58 PM »
If I have selected/enabled the UPS and USPS shipping modules, what would the customer see when s/he tries to complete the sale?
The customer will choose to checkout and proceed. Which shipping company will the software show the shopper? USPS or UPS?

Should I have only one shipping company configured?

What if you have two companies configured?

If I have selected as an admin UPS and USPS which one is selected for the customer?

I am not sure what this means.

I have entered a valid USPS ID and password in shipping. When I go to test a purchase I receive the following error:
10002: The XML document is well formed but the document is not valid

What does this mean?

Configuration / How do I log in as admin?
« on: June 09, 2012, 10:23:57 PM »
The software is installed, read the documentation, can't find how do I log in as admin to configure the store.

Never mind. I found the answer in the Quick Start area of the documentation.

After installation I select the link to take me to the site (left icon. I already deleted the install directory) and I receive the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/randr/public_html/index.php on line 48

General Discussion / Shipping Charge Calculator
« on: June 07, 2012, 04:39:04 PM »
I have been looking for "special" shopping cart. My customer needs to have a solid shipping charge calculator. The customer has a store that sells just about anything, from guitars, rings, tools, and equipment. They would like to be able to calculate the shipping charge for these items. Does this software support such options? Can I calculate the shipping charge based on each item? By weight? By size (LxWxH of box)?
Thanks, Evan
