Check the Following:
1. Stripe extension status is ON
2. Total Order Minimum/Maximum is empty
3. Check your shipping methods they all have Accept these payments setting.  Maybe your set PayPal only or any.
4. Check AbanteCart error log for related errors/warnings

Check AbanteCart error log just after you hint save button. Also did you change Order Status in the Orders Grid or on Order Edit page? What is your AbanteCart version?

Hello.

The error mean that AbanteCart can not archive your backup before upgrade. There are several possible reasons backup failure:
Wrong permissions of /backup folder
Not enough server resources
server have not archive .gz module

You can run upgrade manually. Please backup first your database and all files manually in Cpanel!

And last thing you can not skip versions when upgrade.
