Ok..forget the above post...I've decided to make it easier and just add the header of my store to my links page...but I tried copying and pasting the header code of the cart into the header of the links page...well the header.txt file of the link directory, but it won't show...am I doing something wrong? Thanks.  :)

Don't think that's what I want...or not sure how to make that work ..I'll try to explain better...Ok..I downloaded a link exchange script (called Linkman) and the main page in the script would be links.php. It's the page that has all the links of course and the website submission form. So I would like that links.php page to be embedded in my site on a page I created called Resources. But I can't seem to get the php parts to show in the content..only the html..I tried converting the page to html by copying the source code and pasting it in the to the content area in admin...but when I went to the page on my site if I click the add link button it gives an error page I guess because I would have to change all the links to have http:// at the beginning? So it won't go to any of the links I click...Now do you know what I mean? Or no?? :-) I just wanted something simple so I can manage it in admin, and have it integrated in my site. Otherwise, I'll have a blank white background for a first page that doesn't match my site and just looks sloppy...Thanks for trying to help... :)

« on: March 08, 2013, 03:42:45 AM »
Hi again...hope this doesn't sound too confusing...well I'm confused...lol Ok..I have a links page called links.php (link exchange) that I would like to embed into the site. So, I created a new block called links...and also a content page called resources...The code shows in admin but I don't see it on my new resources page with the links block which I chose to show in layouts...I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong...any idea how I can make the php page show in my resources page? What url would I point it to? The folder where my links script is currently installed is called giftlinks.  I appreciate any help once again. :-)

Shipping Modules / Re: Shipping Options...

Ok..it doesn't seem to be working for me...:-(  I changed the text but when I add the price it still shows as $0.00...
I'm thinking I can't change the flat rate price if I use free shipping?

Shipping Modules / Re: Shipping Options...

Ohh...don't think that will work for me. My items are dropshipped from another site that uses UPS...so I don't need a UPS acct..is there a way I can just add my own shipping options for faster delivery to the checkout page? Like the flat rate shipping radio button? Example, Instead of it saying flat rate I would like it to say 2 day delivery, etc...Maybe I can add them
to the checkout page of the script? I would need it to add to the shopping cart, right? I got a call yesterday where a woman wanted it delivered by the next day but I had to tell her to click the send money in Paypal to send the extra shipping fee..but seems she didn't want to be bothered doing it that way so she never placed an order..:-(  So I can be losing customers without having these options..Zen Cart had these options in my old store..so I'm hoping I can do it with this script since I like this cart better.  :) Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi...Is there a way to have shipping options like say for 2 day or overnight delivery? I want to charge customers extra if they want to have the item shipped faster...is there a way I can add this in at checkout? Like a radio button they can check? Thanks
for your help. :-)

Wow, you're so close...:-)  Ok...I got the color...thank you so much for sending me the images...but now for the background, I can't seem to find where it is in the file..I've been going crazy looking...lol Sorry, I'm not very good at this...but can you tell me where that part is in the file? Like is it top, middle or end of the file? Also, how do I add the image url...where it says the color #fffff ?? And is there some coding I need to put around the url? I would like it to go behind everything but not show under the text...if that makes sense... Again, sorry for sounding dumb...lol  Thanks so much again for your help...I really do appreciate it lots! And I'm very happy with this shopping cart...:-) I'm hoping to donate soon!

Hi everyone! Sending a hello from New York... :)  I just need a bit of help with the template...I'm trying to change the color in the side blocks (the orange) to be the same color blue as the top thin bar going across? If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it...I also would like to add an image background...I read the post on how but can't understand where to add a background  image url...I love this shopping cart by the way...great job! Out of all the ones I tried this one looks to be the best one out there. :-)  Thanks.

Julianna
