I've decompressed the files and all is there. Not sure why I get above error message. I'd like to get the automated upgrade to work. I've looked at the manual upgrade instructions and I can try that next, just want to see first if there is anything else to try to get it to work with extension upload. Or the whole automated process. I feel that would be important for future upgrades and extension installs to work smoothly. I am still in the evaluation stage. Thank you for the help so far.

OK, downloaded abantecart_1.2.2_upgrade_only.tar.gz and tried to install extension:
 Error: Can't find config-file package.xml inside package. Probably package is broken. Structure of package error.

Should I download the full package instead?

I am trying to upgrade automatically but it fails. If I need to do it manually, how? Or can it be resolved so it runs automatically? I've already replaced the backup.php as suggested elsewhere.

Templates / Default Template Cart - Zip display too small v1.2.1

AbanteCart Version 1.2.1 with default template.

When browser in full screen, the cart page does not display the Zip code field big enough. When I make the window smaller so the main menu switches to drop down mode, all is fine Why? And how can this be resolved? See picture.

And the USPS extension needs the User ID set using the USPS USERID assigned to you for Rate Quotes/ShippingAPI. Not the user id you might have to login USPS website. Now that I figured that one out it works too.

I am trying to setup UPS and USPS shipping modules. I believe I've sent Localization and store address correctly and configured UPS the way it is described in the help. But I do not get quotes at shopping cart page and get the following error during checkout as guest:

United Parcel Service (Weight: 2.11lb)
110108: Missing/Illegal Shipper/CountryCode
United States Postal Service
Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.

What is still wrong?

I would implement it on the latest version. Does it get overwritten when upgrading? Or is that modification separate from the core code? An yes, I would be very interested in leaning how to do it.

I am also looking to make the telephone required. I think many of use need the telephone number required in case there are questions regarding an order. I found some customers are slow to respond to emails and with all the spam filters out there it's not easy to reach their inbox. A phone number for the customer is very helpful. Did anybody come up with a solution?

I have a product available in say red, green, blue. When the customer selects the color and the image be automatically swapped to the correct color? Can this be done? I can't find an option for it. This would have many uses where one wants to show the actual product variant.

HTML block now worked. I had to add the block to the Home Page and then it showed up. I previously added it to the Default Page Layout and nothing showed up. Thank you for the help. Cart is growing on me.
