Built-in Features / Free Shipping For One Product Only

Hi, I have set on one product free shipping but it does not take. I have set under standard shipping for USA that if the total reaches 35.00 or more Free Shipping is automatic.

I would like it so that this particular products gets free shipping without having to reach $35.00

I asked this awhile back I believe but I will ask here. Is there a way to get this to work with the cart system?

They provide code snippet like below. I just have to change and put our account info in there. I want to test this at least.

What file should I edit to test this on the cart and where in the file should I place this?

Support / Can image size be increased inside category page?

It would be nice if the images were bigger to fill out the space. Please let me know if this could be done.

Payment Modules / Serious Issue With Pay Pal Standard

I am hoping I can get some clarity here as other questions I posted did not get any good answers. I was just told this morning it has happened a few times not just once but I will explain about one order we had recently.

A person purchased almost $300.00 in an order which is very good. The thing is nowhere in PayPal does the order show. It is like it never existed. This worries us a lot that it could happen more often.

The order was placed with PayPal Standard not PayPal Pro. I did all types of searches and nothing shows up. How can this be possible? Now I know it has happened a couple of other times.

I have used PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro with other carts and integrating was easy and rarely a problem. Since I started using AbanteCart this issue has occurred already a few times. I ask the developers to look into this deeply as I think the implementation could be flawed.

I am not a programmer so I am just assuming based on my experiences with other carts. Thanks for any answers and insight you can give all of us.

I want AbanteCart Cart to succeed and keep improving.

General Support / Final Page After Order Completed

Hello. I placed a test order and went thru the entire process and everything was fine. I need to know which page or pages make up this final page which I would call 'thanks'.

Is it the one called Success? Also on this page is the header and footer included? I am asking as I am working with a 3rd party from Google Ad Words and he wants me to paste some code in for better tracking of sales and I dont know where to paste it in.

General Discussion / I think there may be a bug for product images

Hello. I posted this in another section before but I will ask here again. We are on version 1.1.9 of the cart using HTML5 template which I have modified to our needs.

Here is an example: http://www.hygienics.com/mens-underwear/water-resistant-boxer-brief

If you go there click on the thumbnails and as you click on each one you will notice the main-bigimage never stays in place. It keeps moving down and down more.

Why does this occur? I have made the images all the same size 380px x 380px. It is annoying because there is a large gap between the first picture and the thumbnails below.

If that gap did not exist everything would move up more and I could even modify .css file to move up a little closer the tabs/description section.

Please if anyone has an answer let me know.

#1 I have 8 reviews for one product and only 5 show. How do I get it all to show?

#2 Is it possible to make the reviews scroll instead of having it go so far down if many reviews are added in the future?

#3 Can the date be hidden from the reviews?

Someone here had posted about getting a short description. I was wondering how this can be possible?

It is shaping up nice. What the owners would like is to have a short description of the product above the Made In The USA Button.

Is this possible? Hopefully so because that would basically complete the page for us.

General Support / Info regarding HTTPS to HTTP

I have read a few threads here regarding this issue as it has affected me and I tried a few things but no solution. Im hoping someone can provide some info that will clarify.

We have SSL installed on our site and it works. People can order and it is secure.

The problem is the following. I go to the check out phase or account page and I get to HTTPS and the page is secure. When I leave and go to another page say a category it stays on HTTPS and there are errors.

Why does it not leave HTTPS and go to HTTP? It does work only on the home page for some reason but any other page it stays HTTPS the whole time and that is not good. It should only be HTTPS on the checkout and login/account pages and that is all.

Please chime in with thoughts and ideas.

General Support / Continue to have problems with images on product pages

Hello. I keep having a problem with the images and thumbnails on product pages.

For example go here first: http://www.hygienics.com/mens-underwear/mens-incontinence-boxer-shorts

Here everything is fine and the thumbnail is underneath the large picture with just a bit of space in between

Now go here: http://www.hygienics.com/mens-underwear/safe-dry-sweatproof-underwear-6-ply-integrated-absorbent-panel

Here there is a larger gap of space between the thumbnails and the larger image. You will also notice that when you click on the thumbnails the large image moves down more. It does not stay in place. The first image stays but the second then moves down and if I had a third it would move down more.

Is this a bug or is it something I did? This is the default html5 template which I have modified but I did not mess with the .css code for the image or thumbnails until this week to try and resolve this issue.

If I have one image it is fine but if I add 2 or more this problem starts to occur which is annoying. I hope someone can resolve this for me.

Hello today I was really looking into the code and figured out to how to change the default verbiage(text) that appears when you add a discount to a product and also how to have it all on one line. I will share this here with you. This does amount to adding or changing some code in core file (I believe core) so if you update you could loose the modifications you made. Always make a backup.

The file is product.tpl located in: /public_html/storefront/view/default_html5/template/pages/product

Around Line 130 in product.tpl

What the above change does is put it all one one line below the text Quantity Discount and I added at the end before the closing </div> the word Each to say that each piece they buy will be the discounted price as long as they purchase 3 or more.

As for changing the verbiage you can do that in the Admin under System > Localization > Language Definitions

Look for Key text_order_quantity. Just the verbiage under Translation and click save. I am glad I was told about the Definitions as it is quick and quite handy to change text for certain things.

We need Hawaii and Alaska to be excluded from Free Shipping as the shipping costs are high to send there.

Support / Having a serious issue in site with a URL that is not ours

I just noticed something that is worrisome and I need help quick!

On our site www.hygienics.com when I hover over the links at the top Login/Account/Checkout it shows a different URL than hygienics.com

Instead it shows www.flatscreenbrackets.net. What the hell is that?

Never heard of that URL. It also happens in the category menu under Home. No where else is this occurring from what I see.

Can anyone explain why this would occur? I looked in the settings of the site and .htaccess and nothing is showing for that URL.
