I went into abantecart system-setting-mail and tried to setup the SMTP and I used the setting in the manual for gmail.
I entered my name@gmail.com and that worked fine but when I tried to enter my current gmail password I clicked on the check mark and saved the settings but it will not let me change the password.
What am I doing wrong?

Yes I cannot enter a new password because it will not save the settings.
I have tried this a number of different ways with no luck.

Try the main Save button at the bottom of settings page

I have tired the main save button many times with no success.
Not sure how to proceed because I am wondering if this is why my connection to Pay Pal is not working because it is not recognizing the correct password for my email account.

Hi. We are talking about SMTP password in settings, not paypal.
Please open console in your browser, reload page and try to save again. If save button notwork should be some warning in the browser console https://kb.mailster.co/how-can-i-open-the-browsers-console/

Yes SMTP under where it say's to enter your email address and then it asks you to enter your password.
I tried to enter my correct gmail password.
Which password should I be entering?
