Good Day Abolabo,

If you look above, Oct. 28, you'll see a screenshot of the AbanteCart interface for system > settings and that files can be uploaded 600mb.

A few days ago I had the changes made to both upload_max_filesize  and post_max_size to accommodate the same and still cannot upload large files over 100mb despite the changes made to the three files.

Any other thoughts?  I could FTP if this is a bug or just won't work but don't know how to do that so when people buy the download the "download" function in My Account is associated with the file.  Would using the resource library "add image url or resource HTML" help as an alternative?

Sure hope this can be straightened in some manner as I have quite a few files that are in the 250 - 350mb file range.

Thanks for taking the time to assist me,
Ron

Greetings - I spoke too soon - - as mentioned my php.ini on the server is set to 600mb, the php.ini for AbanteCart is set for 600mb (images above) - went to upload a file that is 350mb and got the error message again (screen attached).  This is far below the limit so I'm hoping I can get some assistance here.  Worse come to worse can I upload it via FTP?  Don't know how I'd do that though but I'd like to use the resource upload function if I can.

From error log:

2013-10-28 15:43:16 - warning:  AbanteCart core v.1.1.7 unlink(/home/xxxx/public_html/AbanteCart/resources/archive/18/7a/1.zip): No such file or directory in <b>/home/xxxx/public_html/AbanteCart/core/lib/resource_manager.php</b> on line <b>203</b>

Thanks much for any assistance,
Ron

Hi Basara,

Thanks for taking the time to assist.

This zip is a collection of volumes that are sold separately and while it is very large we have customers that buy it - I made a zip of 6 of the volumes and it came to 410MB and when uploading it to resources it showed indeed that it was rounded up to 430MB BUT it did begin to upload.

Wanted to let you know that your thought was correct and that this is not a bug.   ;)

Once more, I appreciate the assistance - invaluable.  First site with AbanteCart and just love it BTW and reviewing it, sharing it - thanks again!

All the best,
Ron

Greetings,

My php.ini on the server allows for a max of 600mb and the php.ini within AbanteCart's directory is also set for 600mb - I see in AbanteCart under system settings  that I can upload up to 600mb (screenshot attached).  I try to upload a 572mb file and get an error message  600.04 MB  Error: True  -  the file is not 600 mb.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Ron

Greetings,

I attach a screenshot which shows the two places I need to change the email confirmation of order.  Would greatly appreciate a pointers - I'm using Webmail from RoundCube

As shown, I need to change the text at the top of the page and remove the second logo at the bottom of the page.

Thanks in advance

Just an FYI - found this "Price Based Shipping" extension in the extension store and it's really reasonably priced and will solve my need nicely.
Extension:

I am grateful for the feedback and intend to combine the extension and some wise suggestions for this.

Thanks much and all the best,

General Support / Re: Tax only in one state

If you have more than one zone, I think sellers must register (login) and them, they can see his/her taxes of his/her zone.

Greets,

I have only one zone which is a state.  I am logged in and am using a valid address for that state and when putting an item in the cart I see the sub-total and shipping but no tax amount - any assistance would be appreciated.

All the best,
Ron

General Support / Tax only in one state
« on: October 25, 2013, 12:45:54 PM »
Greetings - I need to charge tax only in one state.  I have made the shipping and payment addresses both for this state and in the product chose the tax rule name and turned it to "on" but the tax is still not showing.  I attach a graphic of the tax settings - if anyone could please tell me what I've done wrong it would be very much appreciated.

All the best
Ron

General Support / Re: <audio> tag question

This has been solved, thanks.  I had to add an *.ogg addition to the tag and offer both MP3 and OGG - my lack of knowledge so just writing to let anyone know that this is fixed for me.

Thanks much

General Support / SOLVED: <audio> tag question
« on: October 24, 2013, 09:23:48 PM »
Greetings - this might be a wrong question for this section or this forum but thought to ask here first.  When adding a sample MP3 to a listing I am using the HTML5 <audio> tag.  Works excellent in Chrome and Opera but not in Firefox - in FF no player shows at all.  Anyone else have this problem and if so would appreciate some advice.  I could use a flash mp3 player but they do not work with mobile devices and at the same time don't want to have desktop FF browser to show a description with missing player.

If this is not the proper place to ask for this assistance please just let me know and I'll move it if that is the case.

All the best
Ron

Llegrand thank you for the info - - it makes a lot of sense for us to do something other than what we've done till now as I agree with you about abandonment of carts (thanks for the link too) - we're gonna think this one through and I think make some changes since what we do sell is not a problem of weight - the biggest hit we do take is international shipping - but our domestic shipping can certainly be made more attractive, I agree with you basically - makes sense.  We'll mull this one over tomorrow and run the numbers - - appreciate your input and your time very much, thanks.

All the best,
Ron

Thank you very much Loreto.  I tried this but not able to quite get it right - - anyone else have any ideas?

Appreciate the assistance very much.

All the best,
Ron

That did it - thanks much!  Will this still function in the same manner if a customer orders a mixture of digital (downloadable) products and tangible products at the same time?

I greatly appreciate the assistance, thank you.

All the best,
Ron
