API Development / Re: how to load model from other controller?
« on: February 20, 2019, 07:41:52 AM »
try this:
 $that = $this->baseObject;
 $that->load->model(....);
$that->model_......
If you do this inside of the ext. hook file, it is correct

I think it is time for you to hire help.

There are many posts on the forum with SEO setup help and manual posted above.
Looks like you cannot do this by yourself.

Here is a link with people who can help you:

There are links to site analytics provided by Neowize.
Disable Neowise extension if you do not want to use these.

Customization help / Re: How to create a menu link for XML feed
« on: January 15, 2019, 07:02:23 AM »
I am new to Abantecart. And I am trying to create a menu link for XML feed of orders for some of my other system link ship station, QuickBooks etc.
Could anyone tell me how to create a page for that? Or Is there any documentation available for that?

Orders export to XML is not available yet. This feature needs to be developed.
Unfortunately, there is no documentation how to program the page. Are you able to develop with PHP? If yes, I can provide some tips.

With all respect, I do not think anyone on Abantecart team will be interested in $15 contribution. Even I would not work on this for $15 as this requires time to develop.

Hopefully, you find someone else to do this for you.

This is would be a question to your Cpanel or hosting provider. God knows what is happening in there.
I think php-gd and php-zip are needed

It looks like you have one of the files corrupt or modified incorrectly. It can be a JavaScript file. PM access to your admin.

I will attempt to look in into this.

Keep in mind, that this forum is not a personal support channel and issues/questions that you post does not seam help anyone.
I base this on your karma score. If you do not work on improving your score AbanteCart team will suspend responding to your posts.

sorry but i don't understand what is that means>>? how i should improve my score and where ??

To improve your karma score:
1. Post clear questions.
2. You need to think of your question as they would help AbanteCart to improve or help others.
3. Reply to others' questions and help others on the forum.

Basically, if people like your posts, they will give you positive karma or vs.

I checked what this change entails and it would take some time to provide steps.
If you have no programming skills it would be even more difficult, as it would require to provide a complete solution for you.

You probably need to hire someone to do this.

This post is a great indicator why you get no help. (Referring to  you complaint in the other post)

How people suppose to help you with this post, if image is so tiny and nothing is visible on it. Explanation of the problem is missing.

What are caps here for?

I think you confuse a commercial product support with open source community support.

Here on this forum, people help each over with suggestion and issues as much as we can.
Abantecart team helps as well.

Karma is a good indicator of help in this forum, and your Karma might be a reason why you get no help.

I tried to locate the error that you provided, but there is no such error.
Can you share exact error you get?

One thing that come to mind, check if customers that you login with are approved.

General Support / Re: auto send emails after few weeks
« on: September 25, 2018, 08:50:28 AM »
You will need to create a backend process and set it as cron. The process will check every day for orders that are 4 weeks old and will initiate an email.

As an alternative, you can check the third party services that send marketing emails, such as MailChimp or Campaign Monitor. They might provide something similar.
