Recently Google has released information about their decision to push https for all pages on all sites and that https will give a slight boost to ranking. They further indicate as time moves forward the https will become more important.

This prompts me to ask - in an upcoming version of Abantecart are you are will you be allowing the use of https on ALL pages if one has the SSL enabled? It would seem that it at least needs to be a consideration - if we're running an ssl cert, we would not like to be "penalized" for only having it appear on some pages and their by reducing our ranking.

Interesting point.
Currently, you can set up your store URL in settings to be HTTPs.
I think this would force site to have https all the time
If this is not a solution, we can think of adding a setting to have HTTPs all the time.

hmmm, I did not think of that - one of the many reasons this board is so useful!! Let me see if this would be how to do that with an already working site with and SSL provisioned. Would like to not corrupt a working site :)
Are you saying that all I need to do is change the store url in the Apanel to https?
And probably make changes in the .htaccess file?
How about the config file? This one was installed via softaculous and provisioned for http:
Any other places that I haven't thought of?
thanks
