I made the change but still the problem occurs. I just dont know why if you leave the secure pages like checkout to a non-secure page like a product it does not switch from secure mode to non-secure.

I wonder what cool stuff they got going on. Is there a part of the site that talks about future features?

Hi Ron. Yes that would be nice as it makes it cleaner to read and not jumbled. I will find out about this.

Have you tried to make a review yourself as a test and use breaks in what you write? In the .css code there might be a way to do this.

What I wonder is if Google and the other crawlers will read these for SEO. I assume they would

Typically in the past it was told to us to put the analytics tag all the way the bottom of the page before the closing </body> tag.

Now for a few years I have noticed when I have looked at source code of websites that they put it in the <head></head> section. I learned about this way without Google telling me.

At first I thought it was odd but the trend seems to be since it is at the top it will get read first. I dont know if there is an advantage or not because I debated with myself on this. Yes it does not have to scroll all the way down to make a connection to analytics but at the same token if you leave it at the bottom it can crawl all the import content of the page before getting to it.

As long as it works that is what matters. My biggest issue with Google is that if you use their product and they have a way to contact you why not let us know you are going to roll out a new feature. We always find out later at my job after the fact and it upsets us.

They need to contact everyone that is using them and do it as a courtesy. Sometimes it has been a few months and we then find out of a new feature.

I had been getting Ajax error on one product only which was really strange and it was when visiting the review tab. It seems to have gone away though. The file provided for us to replace the original did help a bit but then it reverted back.

I dont see the error now as I just checked. I made some changes to PHP version recently so I dont know if that had an effect.

you need to edit your php.ini file or user.ini for Cpanel to give it a higher memory limit. Also take into account that sometimes just editing the .ini file alone wont fix it alone.

You would have to make some changes in the php software of your host. They could help you with that

Payment Modules / Re: Strange Issue With Paypal Pro API Solution

Hygienics uses weight based shipping and the shipping method was standard US shipping. Based on the weight we assign a shipping cost to the product(s).

We dont use any Fedex, UPS, DHL etc.. shipping extensions.

Again this issue only occurs with Paypal Pro where they stay at our site to complete a transaction. If they use Paypal Standard which takes them to Paypal and after they complete the transaction there they come back to our success page everything turns out fine.

I wonder if anyone using Paypal Pro also has run into this issue and was able to resolve it?

General Support / Short Description
« on: August 14, 2014, 06:16:50 AM »
Someone here had posted about getting a short description. I was wondering how this can be possible?

Here is a typical product page for us: ww w.hygienics.com/womens-underwear/safe-dry-waterproof-womens-underwear

It is shaping up nice. What the owners would like is to have a short description of the product above the Made In The USA Button.

Is this possible? Hopefully so because that would basically complete the page for us.

Thanks

Sure. Please go to www.hygienics.com.

Go to any product and add to cart. Then start the checkout process to get https in the address bar. Next dont go thru the whole checkout instead click on a category like Mens Underwear and you will see that instead of going back to http it stays at https and that is not needed.

The system should be able to switch between the two when it is needed

General Support / Info regarding HTTPS to HTTP
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:08:20 PM »
I have read a few threads here regarding this issue as it has affected me and I tried a few things but no solution. Im hoping someone can provide some info that will clarify.

We have SSL installed on our site and it works. People can order and it is secure.

The problem is the following. I go to the check out phase or account page and I get to HTTPS and the page is secure. When I leave and go to another page say a category it stays on HTTPS and there are errors.

Why does it not leave HTTPS and go to HTTP? It does work only on the home page for some reason but any other page it stays HTTPS the whole time and that is not good. It should only be HTTPS on the checkout and login/account pages and that is all.

Please chime in with thoughts and ideas.

Thank You
