For the brands images I think you need to clear browser cache. I did not see any "another" images on my mobile

Hello.

I have checked with developers and paypal standard is not possible with "embed mode" This is due to PayPal redirects approach that will not work in embed window.
Try other payment methods for example PayPal Pro

Hello.

Ask him about browser and operating system. A wide range of issues can be with your customer PC: from incorrect browser settings like disabled javascripts etc to viruses or even "paranoid" mode in security software.
You can also ask him to try different browser.

All payment methods are extensions. Buit-in payment extensions are free others 3rd party can be free or paid.
On marketplace two third party Payumoney extension if you dont want to use them you can develop your own extension but this require programmer skills http://docs.abantecart.com/pages/developer/extension_dev.html

Make sure you put permission the way that your web server can not write to that file. This is done to enforce security of your web application.

You can do this via FTP or Cpanel filemanager.
