So here are the changed server settings I tried.

changed the mail server to cp-41.webhostbox.net and amended the port to 465 as in the server. This is the SSL one. refer configuration in Mail-Server-settingsN.jpg.

New error message (Mailerror5N.jpg) however mail received by customer (MailRecieved1N)

Reverted back to old settings aka mail.crazygardener.in with smtp port as 25. Mail received by customer and error back to square1.

Okay. Now taking both your advices this is what I had done.

My mail server in the cart was reflecting as mail.crazygardener.in amended it to smtp.crazygardener.in and tried sending email to customer from order comments section.

Results: Mail error triggered and no mails received in the customers mail ID. Refer MailError2N.jpg and MailError3N.jpg

Amended it back to mail.crazygardener.in and amended the port as well tried sending email to customer from order comments section.

Result:  Mail error triggered however mail received in the customers mail ID. Refer MailRecievedN.jpg and Mailerror4N.jpg

I also witnessed that the server was having a different mail server for ssl hence tried that option as well. posting the pictures and comments in a new reply due to attachment restrictions.

The admin panel throws the below error every time a product is ordered or I reply back from the order comments.

Things I did.
My server had a message to register mail IDs sent through scripts  action taken registered the mail IDs.
Tried sending mail from the send mail page - result mail sent no error message received.
Tried ordering products. Customer received mails. Error message in admin panel.
Tried sending comments. Customer received mails. Error message in admin panel.

The error still persist though the mails are going through as normal.

Attaching the server side message and error message as screen shots.

Kindly advice.

AbanteCart upgrade package for v1.2.10 (to 1.2.11) does NOT contains any changes related to images.
We cannot to help you without ftp-access. There can be different problems, related to server environment .

You can send credentials via PM.

Abolabo finally I found the solution. The .htaccess file was missing the rewrite condition of the domain. Wondering how it worked in the old version.

Friends

I am able to see the licence text file but not the png files. Since I did not get any proper solution I was forced to re install and reconfigure the site. While I tried installing a fresh site still the images do not appear. Hence I am reinstalling the old version from backup which has images intact. Please can you check the upgrade issues from your side.

I upgraded to 1.2.11 last week post which the images are not showing up. No error message after installation. Tried clearing up the cache. The images are available in the server.

Thanks Basara. I may have not replied to you in the rush but I sure go through all replies :). Indeed your previous inputs did help me resolve my previous query. But this issue seems to be unique. Here are some snap shots.

1. I am attaching snippets of the Cpanel showing my subdomain. This was configured a month back and no issues from server end.
2. The Cart Admin settings
3. The cart with url issues
4. The cart with url issues resolved.  Amazingly this happens every time I manually press save settings in cart admin panel.
The permissions have been set properly in the server too.

On the other note I also spotted that the Softaculous records in my cPanel show the old url. Could this be the reason? I have amended it now. Not seeing immediate changes yet but keeping my fingers crossed.

*** UPDATE ***
After amending the installation records I accessed the cart admin panel using the subdomain url. Now every thing seems to work fine. (So far so good :)) I think I had amended all the settings but was still accessing the admin panel through main domain url which was causing the unique issue. Only time will confirm how the new amendments works. Will keep the forum updated.

Hi

I had setup my store to a sub folder. I had also enabled seo.
The live cart is installed in a base folder "crazygardener. in/CGShop/"
The initial website url (old url) was set up in System>Settings>Store Details as "(with http)crazygardener. in/CGShop/".
The .htaccess file was setup as "RewriteBase /CGShop/" to point to the correct folder.

Every thing was working perfect.

Recently I created the sub domain "(with http) shop. crazygardener. in". The sub domain is pointing directly to the base folder at "crazygardener. in/CGShop/"

Accordingly I amended the new website url (new url) was set up in System>Settings>Store Details as "(with http) shop. crazygardener. in/".
The .htaccess file was setup as "RewriteBase /" to point to the correct folder.

Now here is the problems I am facing

1. The storefront icon in the admin page still points to old url
2. The new url works fine some times and order goes through easily.
3. However sometimes even if I load the site with new url the product listings point to old url because of which I am getting 404 error.

The error logs keep displaying "App Warning: AbanteCart core v.1.2.10 Warning: Accessing store with non-configured or unknown domain ( crazygardener. in/CGShop/ )."

I have cleared cache, cleared logs cleared browser cache still the problem exists and I am loosing orders now.

What am I missing?

For me after the upgrade the fonts are not loading when the homepage is loaded for the first time. After that they load as normal. So if I go to a link and again return back to home page the the fonts load as normal. I have tried clearing cache still the same. I have tried in different systems still the same.

Now I have one store and 2 different vendors. I have created an shipping extension similar to royal mail (This one for India mail). The shipping is weight based. Now everything works fine but when a buyer clicks both my product (less in weight) and the vendor product (more in weight) the calculation combines both weight and gives the flat shipping cost which is OK for the vendor but I loose my shipping cost. Currently I am handling this using ship product separately option. But the problem is for the buyer when they order 3 of my products and one of the vendor product the calculation shows 3 times the shipping cost for my product . Stuck big time.

Hi

I think I found what the problem was. How stupid of me. The language definition was not updated. I added the details manually.
The cart worked perfect with all complex calculations. The  option works great when I select products with lesser weight the cart gives choice to buyers of different shipping options available (only 2 in my case as I have setup this maiden script only for local India Shipping). It also accurately selects the shipping option when the higher weight products are added. I am more eager now to introduce this to my live cart and also develop (Just the concept thanks to the advance brains who coded the scripts) next version of this extension for India Post and also share it with other India cart users as a free extension.

However there are still some minor visible issues (though not affecting the functionality). Please help.
  • In picture one in the extension page I am not seeing the extension name. How do I define it?
  • The shipping eta I have marked as Yes, but it is not reflecting in the front end. How is this done. (Really I am that dumb :( )
  • When I deleted the package for testing it deleted the language definition  I created, however when I installed it did not create the language and I had to feed it manually. What do I need to do to make this happen when the package is installed?
  • How do I package it and share it as a free extension? I created this as an extension based on existing Royal Mail extension and installed it through FTP folder install method. But really eager to know how this is done.
