Support / Need some help with Google Code Placement

I added the analytics ID into the admin and that takes care of communicating with our analytics account.

What I need to know is on which pages do I need to place the other two codes. One is for remarketing  and the other is for Conversion code which goes on the Thank You page.

What file makes up the Thank You page? I used the page.tpl and add the remarketing code there so it would take effect on all products. I believe that is correct but let me know.

This is my contact us page. I have looked at manual and all .css code but cant figure out how to center the form, address, telephone and fax. That is all I went to do here.

I dont know why by default it is left aligned. I think in a form it should all be centered

I looked at the javascript and wanted to know what is the correct word to replace 'random'. I tried crossfade and nothing happened

Customization help / How to get my images to fit banner size

If you got there I have two rotating banner images. I made the images the same size as the banner (blue rectangle) but for some reason the banner reduces them in size.

How can I fit them so they cover the whole area? It does not look good with the blue around.

Support / Remove List View Button

When you look at products in category by default the grid button is showing which is the view we prefer. Is it possible to remove the List View button so it is always Grid?


For now I need to make this default template not responsive and just stay the same width no matter what screen I am on. The owners want it this way for now.

What is the best code to remove so it stays the same always.

We do not need the print button nor the icon for our products. Where in the .CSS can I remove it?

.btn disables all and that is not good. Edit.. I just managed to remove the icon at least.


Support / Website is real slow..

Working on new website here: Please visit there and you will see how slow it is.

Now if you just visit you will see it is faster. What could it be than causes it to be slow? We are on GoDaddy server.

Our mobile site using AbanteCart is fast all the way and we are on a different host.

Payment Modules / Strange Issue With Paypal Pro API Solution

Since I launched our mobile site on Jun 19th we have had a total of 20 orders so far. I have setup successfully PayPal and PayPal Pro.

Our plant manager was saying that about 15 of these orders there are no automatic shipping labels created in PayPal. She has to do them manually and if we start to get a lot of orders this will be a big issue to do them all manually.

I investigated further and saw what is happening inside PayPal. For the orders that a label was done automatically it shows in payment type instant. I will assume that is for PayPal standard where they go to PayPal and finish payment.

For the one's that don't have a label created automatically it is always the same payment type: (Website Payments Pro API Solution)

Also see attached file here and you will notice it says no shipping address on file. On the correct orders it does show an address.

What is going on here?

All orders have gone thru and completed. The only issue is no shipping address and thus manual shipping labels have to be created.

I looked at extension and all is well. Is it the consumer not filling something in? Perhaps something can be added to cart to make them aware to fill in the address in the correct sections?

Any help is appreciated..

Support / problem with import items

I am using AbanteCart 1.1.9 on a new site. I have setup the database, admin and demo store. Everything is working.

I went ahead and exported to a .csv (comma delimited) the products from the demo store, manipulated the file by changing the values in the appropriate columns with the ones from the products I need to import and saved it.

When I go to import it says Data is empty or corrupted.
Total loaded: 0

I did put in test mode to play it safe

I also have it imported as the same format (comma delimited .csv). For our mobile site I had to import products and it worked

Hi we have this website:

I want to keep the look for the most part if possible but replace the backend Admin and the shopping system with AbanteCart Cart.

#1 Can I keep the theme/look and adapt it to AbanteCart?

#2 I installed the cart to /store directory so not to interfere with what is live now. When I finish can I move what I did in /store out into the root (public_html) part of the site and still have it work?

I have not touched .htaccess but will edit it if needed.


Well I tried but it failed. I guess the section where the products are shown for the product you cannot have videos there. It is shame because it would be nice to have the thumbnails of images and video and then have the video show up above like the large images.

Would save space and is a great area for them.

Support / Make Sort By: Use Default As The Main Sort By View

I have been studying another thread and some of the manual to try and make this work but have not been able to figure it out. We have finished sorting all the products in their respective categories by numbers.

This is very important for us as our last system did not allow this. I also would not mind removing some of the options included in Sort By: as I feel they are not relevant for us.

Any advice is appreciated.

On our regular website we have always had a discount called Tri-Pack discount.

If the same item is purchased in multiples of 3 then a dollar is taken off each item for a discount of 3 dollars. So the consumer saves a bit.

If purchasing 6 - 6.00 off, 9 - 9.00 off up to 12.

The math is price x 3 - 3 = discount price. Does the cart have this capability by default or will Flexy Promotions help in that regard?


Support / Can the OrderID in the Admin Be Changed?

It would be very nice if we could have the order ID's changed to something Alphanumeric like 5008M to denote it is a mobile order.

Please advise if this is possible. I also wanted to mention that someone from Malaysia placed an order to be shipped to Malaysia but in the order it shows for shipping method Priority Mail US.

How did this occur? I created a test order using the Cheque method  with the exact same products and the individuals information and when I went thru the order process it correctly used the shipping method and cost.

This is really weird. We also got a second order but the person did not have an order shown. It was 0. I figure they registered an account for future use on the site but why did she get assigned an orderID?

It has been fun working with the system and getting to know it. It has not be very easy at times but it has so much potential compared to what we used in the past.
