Get error message 404 when admin logging in
« on: February 09, 2023, 06:52:20 PM »
I had to change my domain name. Stayed with the same hosting company. I can see my store as a customer, but when I go to log into the admin section, I get "Error Code 404. The resource requested could not be found on this server!" What does that mean, and how do I fix it, so that I can log in? THank you very much

Hello.
You need to change the store URLs settings. If you are not able to log in into admin you can change this directly in the database

Thank you. I will give that a shot. Is there more than one place in the database I need to change it?

Hello.
You need to edit the settings table and two values config_url, config_ssl_url
Also, check the config.php and root .htaccess files
