Is there a limit on items that we can add to our site

Just now I added another item and it's not showing up in store and I have total 297 and i can't see the last item posted. Do we have to edit a file to raise the limit? I did few more test posts and nothing is showing up on home page

Ok never mind I had to change the availability date so all goog.
