Product Discounts and Specials

Hope all is well

I have a quick question

When adding product discounts on a certain product as well as a special on the same product, why does abantecart take the normal price of the product and calculate the discounts

Please see attached images for more info

Example

Special price $50

Discounts still contain the original price instead of Special price

Is this how it was intended to work ?

Hello. The special price and quantity discounts are usually used separately.
