ask how to plugin new template after edit

how to plugin new template after edit:
i already download a template from my cpanel, and edit the style code and other.
after that i upload it on my cpanel at
/storefront/view/new-template-01

when i change the template on my admin panel is ok but view my site is become
http://lclmall.com/static_pages/index.php

what should i do?
is that wrong ? How should i do if got a new template. how to add in ?

I know is error.
1)  how to add my own Custom-made Template to abantercart??
Or Only the extensions template can add in to abantecart? ,
