Product Information - Blurb Formatting

Is there any way to format the information in the blurb on the product information page so that it does not show HTML code in List view? I was able to use <br> tags to break up the information on the product view page but when on a category page in list view, the <br> tags show as text and the blurb is not formatted correctly.

I found the below thread but the Novator theme does not seem to have the variable that it describes.

You can fix the <br> showing as text in list view by modifying your theme’s template to allow HTML rendering. If that’s too complex, switching themes or adjusting the formatting method may help.
