I've been working on improving my AbanteCart store's performance, and I noticed that product pages take longer to load mainly because of image sizes. I've already tried basic compression and caching, but I'm wondering if there's a more efficient way to optimize image loading — maybe using lazy loading or a CDN integration that works well with AbanteCart?

Has anyone here found a reliable method or extension to speed up image delivery without noticeably reducing image quality?

CDN is a great idea to speed up image loading. You can find some ready-made options in the AbanteCart Marketplace. Or, if you prefer, you can set up your own integration with another CDN provider

I ran into a similar problem while helping a friend organize her digital files for a project with Houston Book Publisher. She joked that waiting for images to load felt slower than her early drafts getting reviewed by some of the top self publishing book companies. What helped her was compressing images without losing quality and enabling lazy loading so only visible images loaded first.
