Product detail page display on homepage

I would like to display just one product ( product detail page) on the homepage, I ve tried all options like block, menu, played around with layout options too- no luck
Any ideas or help is appreciated. I don't want to display banner instead i would like to display product with add to cart and checkout ...

probably you need to make rewrite rule in your .htaccess file and redirect default route to your product page...
