Yes mobile is so-o-o-o-o important. As far back as 2009 the then CEO of Google said that from that day forward, EVERYTHING they produced would be developed for the mobile platform first, then the desktop and laptops work-arounds.

There are more mobile devices out there then cars! Apple alone has been shipping 250,00 units a quarter and that is just iPhones.

With tablets now and Android phones, there are nearly 3 BILLION mobile devices in use!
