Hello,  I see in the list of new things there is noted the fallback banner in HTML5 slider is improved.  BUT,  I can't seem to find where that improvement is deployed.  Searching on Admin and on board did not locate anything to see this new solution.  Please give directions where this is.

Thanks
Lee

Lee, are you talking about the fall back banner itself? I just looked at it and it's the same.

If you're talking about it's deployment, then that is a different story.

the path to the banner itself is storefront>vies>default_html5>image>banner_fallback.jpg

I am reading the enhancements on 1.1.8 to say that this is as improved way to get to the link from within the admin panel rather than an FTP/Cpanel upload.

That is what I am seeking instructions for or clarification that I am misunderstanding the improvement. ;D

Let me clarify. Fallback banner in HTML5 template (for small resolution screens) prior to 1.1.8 was not editable in admin. Now you can edit it as regular image based banner. Tracking clicks and views is also working on it now.
Manual is not created for this yet. Will be in the future.

Thank you for clarification.  Just one more question - should that have been added to banner manager when I updated to 1.1.8  or does one need to create it?

I do not have that in my banner manager.

I guess you right. It was probably missed in update script. :( Sorry about that.

You can add it manually if you copy settings in the screenshot or from demo. Image itself is attached

Thanks Abantecart - now I know what to do.  And thanks for making this easier to manage for the future - even with having to create,  it's slicker way to manage ongoing.

Keep up the great work.
