AbanteCart Multivendor and Marketplace capabilities

The Multi Vendor and marketplace capabilities will provide ease of website management to ecommerce website that have multi seller and provide freedom to seller to upload their own items for sale. I believe with this multi vendor and marketplace capabilities it will also increasing users adopting Abantecart as their choices for building a complete ecommerce website.

And there needed an extra filter for the price filtering like product between 400 Rs. to 5000 Rs . And please add the payment gateway option for  Indian account holder merchant that are capable of indian customer  fully support for indian trading. I think Payment gateway extension  like Payumoney is better option for indian merchant and as well as customer too.
And else everything is best.

I love abantecart but my line of ecommerce is multi vendor, but with this news I am excited.

some of the things I am looking for on a multi vendor would be

frontend edit for all sellers

the ability for the website owner to block the seller from deleting product once it goes on live or a function that will charger the seller if they withdrawer or delete a product, this is to prevent the sellers from conducting sales outside the website avoid paying commission.

The ability for every seller to set up their own shipping cost.

A payment gateway that accepts all credit cards.

prevent any contact between sellers and buyers until a sale is paid for but allow buyers to ask questions without getting into a private conversation  with the seller. This is to prevent sales being conduct outside the website.

Sellers to have their own stores with store banner with a website owner option to charge or not to charge for a banner
Sellers to pay a fee if they want to put their contact on their store profile again this will be an option for the website owner
option for website owner to charge or not to charge  seller for  featured products
option for website owner to charge or not to charge  featured sellers

I could hardly wait good luck and looking forward to the multi cart vendor.

This would be one of the best features and need of the hour as in todays dynamic market scenario customers want everything under one roof and multi vendor and capabilities will really help.

I also love this this will bring Abantecart to top Commerce script we need also some more features like

1= SMS verification to customer,s mobile at registration time also at order placed successfully.

2= I also not found The item is sold mark on front end may be its my mistake in not understand where it placed.

3= also  facing problem in changing these fields. not found please let me know where this setting can be found?

Hi, i found second and third option 'edit block Main Page Promo' under Design>Blocks>Home_page_layout>Main page promo

System>Localization>Stock status
we can add more status now in this setting.

if you have 1.2.6 version of Abantecart they have added two default extensions for SMS, but you have to be subscribed to one of the services

Here's what is currently available within AbanteCart with default extensions enabled -  Have you looked at Twilio -  I think it does most of the world.

IM settings available if you have installed Communication extensions. In the AbanteCart core 2 free extensions available: Twilio and Text Marketer. Text Marketer and AbanteCart have teamed up to provide you with a first class integration .
Visit Admin > Extensions > All extension to install and configure communication extensions.
